Angular Contact Ball Bearing
Angular contact ball bearings have inner and outer ring raceways that are displaced relative to each other in the direction of the bearing axis. This means that these bearings are designed to accommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial and axial loads.
The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases as the contact angle increases. The contact angle is defined as the angle between the line joining the points of contact of the ball and the raceways in the radial plane, along which the combined load is transmitted from one raceway to another, and a line perpendicular to the bearing axis.
Continuous Casting Machine Bearing
We has developed ready-to-mount split bearing units specifically designed for use on the drive rollers of the cooling zone of continuous casting plant. The special housings are of cast steel and are water cooled. The housing top with its integral cooling chamber has a low sectional height because the standard design incorporates only one outer ring half which is positioned in the base of the housing. The spherical roller bearing of the unit normally consists of two inner ring halves with lubrication groove and holes, four clamping ring and cage halves, one outer ring half and two lamellar sealing rings with one split. The inner ring division is at an angle to the bearing axis.
Deep Groove Ball Bearing
Deep groove ball bearings are particularly versatile. They are suitable for high and very high speeds, accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions and require little maintenance. Because deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type, they are available in many designs, variants and sizes.
Thrust Bearing
Thrust bearings are designed to support axial loads in a single direction.
Needle Roller Thrust Bearings consist of an axial cage with needle rollers. Use directly with surrounding hardened faces, or separate thrust washers to provide the most compact thrust solution.
Banded Ball Thrust Bearings each feature a steel cage to help provide durability and long service life in industrial applications. Oil lubrication helps to promote smooth operation, and the grooved races help to maintain steady alignment.
